Tipton Green Junior School is situated in Tipton which is just 5 minutes walk from the town centre. Victoria Park is nearby, as are Tipton Swimming Baths. We are a junior school with 350 students from  a rich variety of backgrounds and cultures. We have recently taken occupancy of a new two storey building with excellent facilities.

All the classrooms are equiped with projectors, whiteboards, wireless internet access, laptops and wireless sound systems (Soundfield). Children have immediate access to laptops enabling them to access ICT when required. All classrooms have access to outside workspaces, on the ground floor this consists of a covered area.  On the first floor children have supervised access to balconies.  This enables us to take learning outside the classroom. 

A dance/drama studio is available for the children to participate in music, dance, drama and other activities. The cinema/library area has a large screen and enhanced sound system enabling children to watch movies during Filmclub sessions. At other times the screens are used for information communication.  The  main assembly hall has with built-in speaker system, projector and a large screen, as well as staging and stage lights.  It is also well equiped for gymnastics and P.E.

The outside spaces are now nearing completion.  The play area has been zoned to include:

A nature trail

A curriculum zone

A fitness zone

An All Weather pitch

A quiet zone

An allotment

A secret garden
